In episode three, Tibet, we travel from the vast Tibetan plateau, which covers a quarter of China and is bounded by the glacier-strewn Himalayas, to the famous Tibetan Buddhist monasteries. Home to the world's loftiest mountains, deepest gorges and highest-dwelling creatures, we discover Tibet's unique animals like the rare chiru, wild yaks, argali sheep, Tibetan foxes, rabbit-like pikas and brown bears.
