One of the world's outstanding skyscrapers, Turning Torso is a building in Malmoe, Sweden. It was designed by the Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava and officially opened in August 2005. 190m high, the tower's design is based on a sculpture by Calatrava called Twisting Torso, which is a white marble piece based on the form of a twisting human being.
