President Bill Clinton's past statements come home to roost as independent counsel Ken Starr sends the Republican-led House his referral outlining the grounds for impeachment. House Republicans vote to release the Starr Report ahead of the mid-term election, and it's salacious details become fodder for late-night television and mainstream news alike.

Beginning Saturday 8th December, from 9pm, the limited documentary event unfolds over three consecutive nights and traces the twisted, intertwined series of events that led to the impeachment trial that set the nation on the path towards a more staunchly partisan political system. The series features arresting archival footage as well as comprehensive interviews with the people closest to the events including a timely, in-depth reflection on the topic with Monica Lewinsky.
