Robin Williams rose to fame in the sitcom Mork and Mindy and established a career in both stand-up comedy and feature film acting. His extraordinary performances in Good Morning, Vietnam (1987), Dead Poets Society (1989), Awakenings (1990) and Aladdin (1992) brought international stardom and fame. Many notable as well as box office hits followed, Hook (1991), Mrs Doubtfire (1993), Jumanji (1995), The Birdcage (1996) and Good Will Hunting (1997) for which he won his only Academy Award. Williams also received two Emmy Awards, seven Golden Globe Awards, two Screen Actors Guild Awards, and four Grammy Awards.
