By a ruse, Wiros and the Ruminales enter the city of Gabi. Unable to stave off the attack, Ilia runs away and returns to Alba Longa. Gala's condition worsens when she sees her daughter, as she believes Ilia is a threat sent by the gods, but Amulius defends her.
