Unlikely Travellers is a remarkable three-part documentary series of six fabulous adventurers, each with a unique and challenging intellectual disability. More than 120 people have applied for a two-week trip to Egypt and today is the first day of interviews. The Spectrum Organisation has narrowed it down to 21 who will face the selection panel.
In this new series, scientist Professor Alice Roberts, Chef Tom Kerridge and journalist Sean Fletcher are keen to improve cooking, health and bank balances by dishing up the plain facts about food. Tom's on a mission to improve everyone's cooking skills one dish at a time and responds to the public's kitchen disasters. Professor Roberts reveals that three quarters of the UK population are taking home a food poisoning bug with them from the supermarket. Consumer journalist Sean Fletcher is pulling apart the ingredients in some every day foods - this time it's pasta.
