Plastic Paradise: The Great Pacific Garbage Patch
SBS2  |  June 2, 2016

Thousands of miles away from civilisation, Midway Atoll is in one of the most remote places on earth. Yet it's ground zero for The Great Pacific Garbage Patch, syphoning plastics from three distant continents. This indie documentary follows journalist/film maker Angela Sun as she travels to uncover this mysterious phenomenon, meeting scientists, researchers, influencers and volunteers who shed lights on the effects of our rabid plastic consumption.
