Australians' Addiction To Prescription Opioids Soaring
Over the past decade Australians' use of opioid-based prescription painkillers has quadrupled. At least 800 people each year are overdosing on the medications. Lateline's Tierney Bonini meets one family whose daughter died after becoming addicted to the drugs, and a young woman struggling to wean herself off the painkillers.
