Set in the South Pacific, Wawa, a young girl from one of the last traditional tribes, falls in love with her chief's grandson, Dain. When an inter-tribal war escalates, Wawa is unknowingly betrothed as part of a peace deal.
The third and final leg of Simon's Russian journey takes him from Crimea to the historic Baltic city of St Petersburg. In Crimea, Simon meets the eccentric and fearless owner of a safari park who likes to get up close and personal with his pride of lions. Travelling across Russia's vast western plains, Simon discovers depopulated villages and a rural community clinging on to existence and feeling abandoned by central government. Finally, after a journey spanning more than 6000km, Simon arrives in St Petersburg, where he joins fighters at a martial arts club. He is keen to get involved, but ends up with more than he bargained for.
