Popular television presenter and medical journalist Dr Michael Mosley returns to SBS this April with three brand new series. Over seven big myth-busting Monday nights, Michael Mosley will present the latest in health and medical research as he uses himself as a human guinea pig in SBS's Michael Mosley Season.

Michael Mosley: Do We Need Health Tests?
Despite living longer and healthier lives than ever before, we have never been more obsessed with our health. Human guinea pig Michael Mosley puts himself through a battery of health tests available to people who feel perfectly well. From CT scans to bowel scoops, Mosley asks whether these pricey tests are really worth the cash.

Very quickly Michael comes to realise that while these tests can be powerful preventative tools for people at risk, all of these tests have significant drawbacks and alarming consequences for seemingly healthy people who are over diagnosed. This leads him to ask whether testing seemingly healthy people actually does more harm than good to their health.
