Guitar Star
Season 2  |  Episode 8  |  Arts  |  June 22, 2017

The three finalists, chosen by mentors Milos, George Benson and Tony Visconti, head to Latitude Festival for the competitions finale. First, all three will play two songs each in-front of an intimate crowd on the Alcove Stage, the festival's home of new music. These performances will be judged by not only rock legend Tony Visconti and classical artist Milos, but also Melvyn Benn, the founder of Latitude. Between them they will decide which guitarist has what it takes to share the bill with this years headliners, The Maccabees, The National and New Order, by playing on the main stage in front of thousands. Not only will the chosen guitarist be playing the gig of their lives, together with a full backing band, but also they will be this years winner of Guitar Star.
