Wesak Wesak - also known as Vesak, Buddha Jayanti, Buddha Purnima or Buddha Day, is seen by many Buddhists to mark the birth, enlightenment and death of the Buddha. As part of our series on religious holidays in Australia, we ask a group of Buddhist kids about their religion and what Wesak means to them.
