Artists At Work: Adam Elliot In Conversation
Adam Elliot In Conversation
STUDIO  |  February 23, 2011

One of Australia's best known animators, Adam Elliot stunned the American and Australian film industry in 2004 when he won an Oscar for his short film Harvey Krumpet. In this episode of Artscape, Virginia Trioli joins Elliot for an insightful chat which reveals just what it took to make his latest film Mary and Max, an $8 million project that was five years in the making with over 100 crew members. This is a far cry from Harvey Krumpet, which cost only $380,000 and was made by Elliot and a couple of mates in his father's storage unit.
