Prime Minister Scott Morrison’s installation of former Australian Labor Party national president Warren Mundine as the Liberal Party’s candidate in Gilmore has infuriated local rank-and-file party members who had already chosen their candidate, with analysis from 7.30 chief political correspondent Laura Tingle and an interview Mr Mundine gave to Leigh Sales earlier in the day.
