Shakespeare Globe Theatre revisits their award-winning Twelfth Night production in 2002 with an all-male Original Practices production, exploring clothing, music, dance and settings possible in the Globe of around 1601.

Rosalind, the daughter of a banished duke, falls in love with Orlando at a wrestling match. Her usurping uncle, jealous of her popularity banishes her from court. Disguised as a boy she leaves with her cousin Celia and the jester Touchstone, to seek out her father in the Forest of Arden. Here she meets Orlando again and, under the guise of a young man, counsels him in the art of love and wooing. A firm favourite among Shakespeare's comedies, and including some of his best loved characters, As You Like It runs the glorious gamut of pastoral romance: cross-dressing and love-notes; poetry and brilliant conversation; gentle satire, slapstick and passion. Award-winning director Thea Sharrock (Equus, The Emperor Jones) directed at the Globe for the first time and on her first ever Shakespeare production. This production evoked traditional staging and costume.

Recorded live from Shakespeare's Globe Theatre. Starring Jamie Parker as King Henry V, Brendan O'Hea as Captain Fluellen/Bishop of Ely, Brid Brennan as Chorus/Queen Isabel and Sam Cox as Pistol. Shakespeare's masterpiece of the turbulence of war and the arts of peace tells the romantic story of Henry's campaign to recapture the English possessions in France. But the ambitions of this charismatic king are challenged by a host of vivid characters caught up in the real horrors of war. Henry V, opened with the words 'O for a muse of fire', celebrates the power of language to summon into life courts, pubs, ships and battlefields within the 'wooden O' - and beyond.

Recorded live from Shakespeare's Globe Theatre. Dominic Rowan as Henry VIII and Ian McNeice as Cardinal Wolsey. The Tudor Court is locked in a power struggle between its nobles and the Machiavellian Cardinal Wolsey, the King's first minister and the most conspicuous symbol of Catholic power in the land. Wolsey's ambition knows no bounds and when his chief ally, Queen Katherine, interferes in the King's romance with Anne Bullen, he brings gigantic ruin upon himself, the Queen and centuries of English obedience to Rome. Famous in its own day as Shakespeare's most sumptuous and spectacular play, Henry VIII is a gorgeous pageant of masques and royal ceremony; a blaze of fireworks, cannon fire, red satin and cloth-of-gold. But within the passages of grandeur works the mind of the mature Shakespeare: psychological and political insight, language of great depth and power and, in the figures of Wolsey and Katherine, two of his most vivid and memorable characters.

One of the main elements of prep, in both film and television, is producing the shot list. This episode covers not only what a shot list is, how it should look, and whom to give it to, but also how to imbue camera instructions with emotion and personal investment. Extensive case studies from Lost and Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. demonstrate the way personal experience can and should affect everything from lens choice to camera placement.

Perhaps the single most make-or-break element of directing is casting. It is also the element of directing that differs most between film and television production. This in-depth look at lessons learned from both film and TV, with case studies from Bobby's independent films Manhood and Jack the Dog, as well as guest casting experiences on Lost, offers practical lessons in how to cast across media, when to trust your intuition and when to listen to casting directors, and which common casting mistakes are easy to avoid.
