Australia is home to over 800 species of birds from honeyeaters to hawks, from spoonbills to cockatoos. It is also home to different species of bird lovers, some of whom take their interest to the extreme...'twitchers' is the commonly used name for such enthusiasts. Chasing Birds follows three teams - the Hunter Thickheads, the Hunter Home-Brewers and the Whacked-Out Woodswallows as they compete in an annual 'Twitchathon'. The aim is to spot as many species as possible in 24 hours. Not easy at the best of times - but especially difficult with a camera crew tagging along.

Michael Winterbottom's largely improvised 2010 film The Trip , took comedians Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon - or semi-fictionalised versions thereof - on a restaurant tour around northern England. In this witty and incisive follow-up, Winterbottom reunites the pair for a new culinary road trip, retracing the steps of the Romantic poets' grand tour of Italy and indulging in some sparkling banter and impersonation-offs. Rewetting our palates from the earlier film, the characters enjoy mouth-watering meals in gorgeous settings from Liguria to Capri while riffing on subjects as varied as Batman's vocal register, the artistic merits of Jagged Little Pill, and, of course, the virtue of sequels. Winterbottom trains his camera to capture the idyllic Italian landscape and the gastronomic treasures being prepared and consumed while keeping the film centred on the crackling chemistry between the two leads. This film effortlessly melds the brilliant comic interplay between Coogan and Brydon into quieter moments of self-reflection, letting audiences into their insightful ruminations on the nuances of friendship and the juggling of family and career. The result is a biting portrait of modern-day masculinity.

*Adult Themes, Coarse Language* *Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander viewers are advised that the following program contains images and voices of people who have died* Cyclone Tracy was one of the worst natural disasters in Australia's history, virtually wiping the city of Darwin from the map. Now 40 years later, previously untold stories reveal compelling new perspectives on the devastating storm, the controversial mass evacuation and the troubled reconstruction, investigating the socio-political effects on Darwin and its residents. Extraordinary archival footage, immersive animation and in-depth interviews tell a powerful story revealing the legacy and myths of Cyclone Tracy including the coming of age of Darwin, the heroism of Darwinians, and the politicisation of the rebuild. The failure of most official records of the disaster to mention Indigenous people is addressed with stories from Aboriginal people who lived through the storm, and accounts of traditional Aboriginal beliefs that explain from a cultural standpoint the cyclone and resulting devastation. PRODUCTION DETAILS: Brindle Films and Nirvana Films. Produced with assistance of Screen Territory in association with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and Screen Australia. Produced by Rachel Clements and James Bradley. ABC Executive Producer and Head of Indigenous Sally Riley.

In 2014, one of the last tribes that had had no contact with the outside world emerged from the Amazon rainforest. This documentary has exclusive access to the tribe and documents first contact with members of the previously isolated tribe called the Txapanawa on the bank of the Envira River in the village of Simpatia in Brazil. An anthropologist, Jose Carlos Meirelles goes deep into the Amazon to learn whether the emergence of a long-hidden tribe signals the end of humans living in total isolation.
