Chronicles the history of the most prominent hetero swingers club in New York during the 1970s, Plato's Retreat, and its loudmouth self-promoting owner, Larry Levenson - through the words of the participants, employees and Levenson's children. While disco was pumping, Plato's Retreat took off as a notorious club full of nudity, a swimming pool, a mattress room and a buffet. The participants speak very fondly of their memories and the anachronisms of the place. But as the '80s came the novelty wore off, the threat of AIDS arose, and Levenson's ego went out of control.

Yakuza is a term which originally stems from the world of gambling, but the word, literally meaning 'eight-nine-three', has other connotations. In Japan, more than 86,000 so-called yakuza are members of consortiums that are fronts for the mafia. The yakuza are led by dictatorial bosses and operate in a world with its own set of rules. In contemporary Japan, it is hard to find enough subservient and reliable disciples, who can be accepted into the clan after a one-year internship. Young Yakuza follows one of them, a 20-year-old freeloader named Naoki.

The Miscreants takes us on an extraordinary journey to a forbidden zone, into the remote tribal belt of the North West Frontier of Pakistan, up to the mountainous Afghan border. Director George Gittoes gathers an astonishing cast of characters, as they dodge the anti-entertainment forces, and are caught in the current of events which are turning back the clock on the digital age. To enter this world, Gittoes dresses in local costume, and agrees to become an actor in the low budget Pashto Telie Movie industry. Teaming up with Pashto action and comedy stars, they make the 'last telie movie' - an over the top action drama, played out in what must be one of the craziest of film locations - just a cave or two away from where the most wanted man in the world runs 'Terror Central'.

Capturing The Friedmans was the winner of the Grand Jury Prize at the 2003 Sundance Film Festival. It's a non-fiction feature film that explores the elusive nature of truth through the prism of one of the strangest criminal cases in American history. The Friedmans seem at first to be a typical family. Arnold Friedman is an award-winning schoolteacher, his wife Elaine, a homemaker. Together, they raise their three boys in the affluent Long Island town of Great Neck. One Thanksgiving, the family is gathered at home preparing for a quiet holiday dinner. In an instant, a police battering ram splinters the front door and officers rush into the house searching every corner, seizing boxes of the family's possessions.

We learn about their dreams, we follow them at work and during their free time, in host clubs where they drink and find escorts, and in nightclubs where shibari, the art of sadomasochistic binding, is practiced.

John Allen Muhammad, 42, a veteran of the Gulf War in 1991, and his stepson John Lee Malvo, 17, were convicted in 2004 of being the Washington sniper, who had been terrorising America over a period of three weeks. Police found a gun in the suspects car - the criminals had supposedly shot it 13 times. Ten innocent people were killed, and three were wounded. Police also found a scope and a tripod. The criminals probably shot the victims without even leaving the car, as it has an opening in the trunk that allows people to lie hidden and shoot the victims. Experts unanimously agreed that it was John Allen Muhammad who was the force of the criminal tandem. What were the motives of these men, and was one 'guiltier' than the other? Psychologists suppose that John Allen Muhammad is non compos mentis, but find it difficult to explain why the stepson acted in the same way.
