In the final episode of the series, the five ambassadors are staying with their last family on their journey, Staff Sergeant Steve and Sergeant Tara, on the huge army base of Fort Stewart in Georgia.
Meet the Natives USA follows five tribesmen from the South Pacific island of Tanna as they venture to the U.S to observe the natives of this exotic land. This week they venture to Orange County, California, to live with Rand and Rosemary Sperry and their six grown up children. Here, the ambassadors can take their clothes off, swim and smoke cigars in the sun. It isn't so different to home.
This week the five ambassadors arrive with their third host family - the 'middle American people' Joe, Jen and their three kids - who live in a modest suburb of the mid-West industrial city of Peoria.
This week the men visit New York's upper class area where they meet Bunny, who lives alone while her husband is away on business and her children are away at college. Bunny introduces them to the art of painting. The tribe start to realise that American life revolves around money. They take interest in an individual who is homeless and quickly explain how their culture would not allow for an individual to be homeless.
For years, anthropologists have travelled to the South Pacific to live with local tribespeople and observe their traditional ways of life. But now the roles are reversed, Meet the Natives follows five tribesmen from the South Pacific island of Tanna - as they venture to the U.S. - to observe the natives of this exotic land.
