The remaining contestants fly to the UK for the London Fashion Week. Their aim is to take three photographs that bear witness to the world of fashion and the humanity that whirls around the high-life events. But the focus will not be on the designers and their creations, but on the people who live and breathe fashion: fashion victims, buyers, bloggers, journalists and, obviously, the photographers themselves as well.
Running without legs, fighting without arms, swimming without being able to see: it sounds impossible for anyone. In this task, the contestants will be asked to portrait who make it happen: the Paralympic champions. How difficult it is to live with a physical disability, what makes an athlete constantly surpass their own limits and, above all, what's the satisfaction to overcome huge obstacles, driven only by willpower? These are only some of the questions the contestants will try to answer with a reportage of three or five photos they will produce, spending the day with a European Paralympic champion.
The photographers fly to Hamburg. The task takes place at the beginning of the day, when the city wakes up and everything starts moving. To move on to the next round, the contestants will have to capture in a single shot their own interpretation of the rush hour. Starting from the Hamburg central train station, a junction for commuters, busses, trams, trains and underground lines, the contestants have to grasp the shades of a place of many faces. They have three hours to explore the city, find an original point of view and take the photo that will allow them to keep going on the next challenge.
In this episode, the contestants have to deal with travel photography. They fly to the area around Ragusa, in Sicily, where they will try to capture its essence through locations, faces or traditions. With a single photograph, they will have to capture the complexity of a territory rich in contradictions. Photographer David Alan Harvey mentors.
The photographers travel to four different European capitals to capture the diverse aspects of the continent. David LaChapelle then critiques their work.
The photographers return home as they are challenged to capture themselves, their families and their roots. Johnny Briggs assists them back in the studio.
