There is a strange and mysterious world that surrounds the everyday tangible one; a world largely hidden from the senses. The quest to explain the true nature of reality is one of the great scientific detective stories. Clues have been pieced together from deep within the atom, from the event horizon of black holes, and from the far reaches of the cosmos. It may be that the world is part of a cosmic hologram, projected from the edge of the universe. Or that it exists in an infinity of parallel worlds.
MIT Cosmologist, Professor Max Tegmark, introduces his theory that reality is a mathematical structure, unchanging and eternal. An idea that pushes physics into the realm of philosophy.
Whatever the truth, after this, reality may never look quite the same. (From the UK) (Documentary) G CC
