1066: The Year That Changed Europe Forever: Ep 3 Of 4

Tofi and Leofric set off to rescue the snatched women of Crowhurst, including Tofi's young wife Judith. En route they encounter the Normans, the ruthless Ozouf, the gentler Coutances and the mute Drogo. But Tofi and Leofric outwit their pursuers and reach safety.

Meanwhile Ordgar and Snorri lead a night-attack on the Norman encampment in the hope of destroying their strength. They surprise no one and barely escape with their lives. By now the forces of war have gathered near Hastings. Ozouf and Coutances return to Duke William's camp. King Harold's army draws near. Reunited with Ordgar and Snorri, Tofi and Leofric take arms once more in the English shield wall, to face the ultimate test of strength and resolve, the last battle at Hastings. So who will triumph, and who will survive?
